The cosmos broke through the soil. It's the tiniest little green sprout. I'm trying not to influence it to grow on purpose. I'd like to see how long it takes without my ~~nudging~~ pushing it along. Granted, I can't exactly prevent anything from happening if my good mood spreads out.

Shiraishi-kun, I asked my dad to pick out a variety of iris bulbs and send them to me without labels. I like surprises. He's also sending the others I mentioned if you want any of those.

I'm wondering if liking Hades children is a trait inherited from my mom. Non-romantic, of course. There always seem to be exceptions to that, but for the most part I get along relatively well with everyone in that cabin. It's kind of weird. I almost feel like I should be a little nicer to Hades. Almost. I'm never going to get over his whole cursing-me-for-existing thing. Even more so now that Dan exists and Hades hasn't done a damn thing to him. I don't condone the whole cheating-as-retaliation-for-cheating which my mom did because of Hades' transgressions, but I wouldn't exist if she hadn't. Then again… there are two of us and how many children of Hades? She was justified.

Whatever. I'll be nicer. It probably won't do me any good, but I can be a better person than a god. I already know I'm better than most gods.

What are your thoughts on genetic modification of plants?

I'm fine with it, for the most part. Especially if it has beneficial outcomes to both the plant and the surrounding environment.

That is my goal. I'm actually working on a slightly lager project right now. I was thinking about putting it as a decoration near the Hades cabin.

What materials are you using?

Right now my main material is rubies. Finding them is quite a challenge, but gladly they're not the most needed ones here. Others would be jades, sapphires and gold. Finally some use for that, too.
